Adopt A Bed Your donation will help support our shelters 34 beds of emergency and transitional shelter. These beds provide a warm safe environment for over 150 people PADS is experiencing a higher than average nightly guest average this year, your donation will help us to continue to provide on-going shelter! Adopt A Bed The adopt a bed program is available year round. Everyone can Adopt a Bed here are a few ideas of what you can do; Take up an office collection, get together with a group of friends, ask your company to match a portion of your donation, get your club or group to donate. The Adopt-A-Bed program is designed for donors who would like to help the homeless men,women and children get the help they need to change their life. Our Adopt-A-Bed Program provides families and individuals with the basic necessities of a safe, supportive and warm place to sleep at night while actively pursuing and working towards becoming self-reliant and self-supporting citizens. With your support, we can continue the work of assisting the poor and the needy. Please consider adopting a bed and giving a family or individual in need the gift of peace and security. Our goal is to raise $85,000.00 to provide emergency shelter and transitional housing to more than 150 people who cannot qualify for County Support and/or have no ability to pay through family, friends or personal means. The PADS Program, which is a Program of the Pioneer Center for Human Services, is a 501C non-profit organization totally devoted to providing assistance in successfully delivering shelter, food and supportive services to those in need within McHenry County, Illinois.
